Opinions aren't really valuable here when solid facts can already been found from proffesional reviews. You obviously haven't read reviews otherwise you would understand the performance of the Corsair CX450M. I do find your response to a bit boorish. Obviously there are many other sites which provide useful tech information. I base my opinion on personal experience with system building. I find Tom's guides as well as reviews to be reliable as I don't have the time nor inclination to test multiple types of computer hardware. Watch benchmarks yourself, most games will use less than 8gb of ram. Recommended by who? You've provided no evidence 16gb worth it over 8gb. here is a review showing the Corsair CX650m performing better than the xfx ts 550w bronze and similar quality besides the secondary caps and fan which the CXM's warranty makes up for. It isn't even accounting for the new CXM units which is far better quality than the old ones.
